At Aira, we believe access to information is a human right. Aira breaks down accessibility barriers by providing on-demand video remote interpreting for both the blind and low-vision community, and the Deaf Community. People can download the Aira Explorer app or the Aira ASL app, and be instantly connected to a professional interpreter. Available 24/7/365, interpreters work with callers to facilitate more efficient communication and accomplish tasks together. Aira is proud to lead the way in delivering secure, on-demand, inclusive services that transform lives and open doors to new opportunities for all.
 
Aira is used by individuals, employees, students, and customers at hundreds of organizations to enhance independence, efficiency, and autonomy. Over the last three years we’ve seen exciting business breakthroughs including our recent nationwide launch at all Starbucks locations, rollout at over 50 airports and transportation systems, 20+ colleges and universities, major corporations such as Amazon, Bank of America, Target, TD Bank, Wegman’s Grocery Stores, and the entire States of Colorado and Alabama.
 
In October 2024, we launched Aira ASL, a separate app that connects those in the Deaf Community to professional interpreters through a partnership with a Deaf-owned company. This is a natural extension of our mission. By expanding into ASL services, Aira is broadening its impact on the accessibility landscape. Offering solutions for both the Deaf Community and the blind and low-vision community under the Aira platform enhances the visibility of accessible technology and creates more opportunities for businesses to adopt inclusive practices.
